Music and theatrical performances bring artistic expression to life in the MTR in a rich variety of entertaining ways at the MTR "Living Art Stage".
Every Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, the Central Subway of Hong Kong Station (paid area near Entrance / Exit C of Hong Kong Station) becomes a stage for professional artists and amateur performers to share their diverse abilities and talents.
Performances include everything from modern pop, busking, hip-hop music to classical performances, traditional Chinese music, theatre and dance. Passengers will also enjoy special performances during festive times.
Members of the public can stop by to relax and enjoy an art healing journey from the hectic city life at the Living Art Stage.
To promote diverse artistic cultures, the MTR “Living Art Stage” features different performance themes. Details are as follows:

With vivid and energetic harmonica music, five enthusiastic musicians from RedBricks Harmonica brought passengers a joyful journey.
A group of breakdancers including Hong Kong breaking athletes B-Boy Think and B-Girl Lady showcased incredible breakdancing moves.
Hong Kong Enharmonica, a local inclusive orchestra, brightened up passengers' journeys by performing several well-known classical and pop music pieces.
Engineers who love playing Chinese instruments featured a series of melodious music pieces to showcase the tuneful timbres of Chinese musical instruments such as the pipa and erhu.
