Five-star cozy hot pot in Japanese-style courtyard!

Speaking of popular food in Shenzhen, hot spot should never be missed out! A hot pot restaurant has recently gone viral. With branches in Futian and Nanshan districts, Huo Xi offers quality food and service in a splendid environment featuring a Japanese-style courtyard design. Stars and celebrities are among those who pamper themselves with hot pot there from time to time.
Huo Xi adheres to the philosophy of "green, nutritious and healthy". All the soup bases are healthy. They are fragrant and spicy, but not greasy or pungent. All diners can find their favourite choices. The signature Fish Maw & Chicken Hot Pot is a must-order. It is served in limited quantities every day. The rich soup base is prepared in an ancient way for at least 8 hours. The al dente fish maw is served in big slices, and the whole chicken tastes tender and juicy. Each bite is full of collagen. It is fresh and tasty but not greasy. Taking some soup before the meat helps warm the stomach and nourish the skin.
The hot pot ingredients are carefully selected and are definitely fresh. And there are a great variety to choose from. Must-orders include: Hand-cut Marbled Beef, with a uniform texture and a tender taste but not greasy; Brown-marbled Grouper Meat, which is delicate and firm in texture; Crispy Beef Tripe, which is fresh but not chewy; Australian Lobster Paste, which tastes smooth, refreshing and al dente; Large Kuruma Prawns, which are fresh, sweet and juicy, together with the prawn peeling service! Other signature dishes include Deep-fried Alaska Crab with Chilli Peppers, Flavoured Grilled Eel, Sweet Corn with Salt and Pepper, and Foie Gras with Red Wine Sauce. Don’t miss them!

The decorations of the two Huo Xi branches are completely different from those of ordinary hot pot restaurants. The Chinese hot pot is served in a Japanese-style courtyard, with many potted plants around. And the corridor pathway is covered with marble and pebbles. There are private dining rooms in the premises. Each private room is carefully designed in line with the Japanese aesthetics of simplicity and clarity. The calligraphy paintings and 3D sculptures add to the visual enjoyment. Celebrities will occasionally visit because of the high privacy room. Maybe you will meet your idol over hot pot!
