國際園林花卉博覽園Come get a taste of “time travelling” beyond movies. Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park is a good place for you to admire ancient Chinese architecture and foreign gardening landscape. Imagine you are a “time-traveller”, a walk in the park brings you back to the ancient times in one moment and in the next Kyoto, Japan.
國際園林花卉博覽園With a super large area of roughly 660,000 square metres, the expo park features Chinese and foreign horticulture and gardening, architecture, culture, art and popular science. The serenity and greenness make it an oasis in the hustle and bustle. The park is truly a feast for the eyes, with antique buildings and more than 100 garden sceneries in imitation of 42 cities in 11 countries around the world.
國際園林花卉博覽園Surrounded by green hills and emerald waters, the park also hosts pavilions, murals and relief sculptures of the traditional Chinese style. Poetic and oriental charm abounds throughout the park. The greatest feature is the replicas of famous landscape sites across China, including Shikumen in Shanghai, Stone Forest in Kunming, Leifeng Pagoda in Hangzhou, Baipo Family in Hebei, Baotu Spring in Jinan, Soul of Martial Art in Zhengzhou, Piano Island in Xiamens. Dashes of local flair are fully demonstrated. The unique architecture makes the park an ideal place for enthusiastic fans of ancient costume play or pre-wedding photos with a Renaissance touch.
國際園林花卉博覽園The Japanese Court is definitely the most popular spot in the park. Many people show up especially in kimono as if they were actually touring the Little Kyoto and visiting Japanese shrines! Other exotic gardens include the Pakistan Pavilion, the Phoebe Garden of Canada, the Indian Garden, the Kenyan Garden, and so on. You can travel “around the world” in just one day. Remember to post your photos online to get “Likes”!
國際園林花卉博覽園The nine-storey “Blessing Pagoda” is the highest stone pagoda in China. Each storey represents different virtues and karma. Go to the top level of the pagoda, from which you can admire the view of Shenzhen Bay as well as the whole park.
